"Basically Lance is saying, 'If we can't figure out another way to screw Tom Gonzales, then we'll go ahead and pay him," Gonzales said. "Isn't that an atrocity? Itn that an amazing way for a businessman, a commissioner and exalted moral man to act?"
room adversary wants to take his Mustang Ranch brothel
Lance Gilman, owner of the Mustang Ranch brothel and Storey County commissioner, said he willcontinue his legal fight after a Storey County jury awardeda $1.3 million judgment against one of his businesses last week Palladium Boots Review Size
"I never had any (interest in Storey County) but that could change," said Hof, whoowns seven legal brothels in Nevada. "If Gonzales prevailed and took that property, then I would definitely consider doing something there."
"In round 2, we will ask the court to review the jury verdicts and correct what we view as erroneous verdicts." Gilman said. "If necessary, in round 3, we will ask the appellate court to review the verdicts and correct them. So there is still a long way to go in this case."
Gilmanalso said Tom Gonzales, who won that judgment against Gilman's Cash Assets Management, LLC, is trying to take control of the Mustang Louis Vuitton Tennis Shoes brothel.
Gilman is also a leader in the economic development of Northern Nevada. He is the exclusive broker for the Tahoe Reno Industrial Park in Storey County billed as the largest industrial park in the world.
Gilman's comments did not go well with Gonzales, who holds a lien on the land where the Mustang brothel now sits. Gonzales said after the trial that he will foreclose on the property if not paid.
partner and revoked the license.
The revocation in 2011 came about two months after Gilman stopped paying Gonzales his one percent gross revenue cut which had ranged from about $4,000 a month to almost $6,000.
Mustang Ranch operations won't be impacted by a potential award to Gonzales, Gilman said.
This case began when Gonzales loaned Gilman $2.25 million in 2003 on a high interest loan to finance the Wild Horse brothel. Part of that agreement, later modified in 2004, gave Gonzales a monthly one percent gross revenue cut from the Wild Horse.
In 2009, with input from Gilman, parts of the county brothel ordinances were changed. One change mandated that anyone with any financial interest in a brothel must submit to a licensing investigation.
Gonzales alleged that Gilman acted in bad faith by influencing Storey County officials to change the county's brothel ordinance in 2009. Gonzales also contended that Gilman did not act in good faith in 2011 when he told Storey County officials of his loan deal with Gonzales. The Storey County Brothel Licensing Board (made up of the three county commissioners and the sheriff) saw Gonzales as a silent Polo Ralph Lauren Womens Shoes
"This will not happen," Gilman said. "Even if the verdict stands up after post trial motions and the appeal, we will simply cut a check and pay what the legal system determines we should pay. We believe there is no possible legal outcome where TG Investments (owned by Tom Gonzales) will get the Mustang Ranch."
The jury awarded the claim for breach of contract and breach of good faith and fair dealing against Gilman's company, the owner of the former Wild Horse brothel .
their finding. We are concerned that the jury had 27 jury instructions, and around 100 exhibits to go through, as well as testimony from 10 witnesses, and we do not feel that 60 minutes of deliberation was enough to fully consider all this. In the first round we won outright on six of the eight claims."
Hof, owner of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch brothel near Carson City and star of the HBO series "Cathouse," has maintained for many yearshe did not want to do business in Storey County.
"This verdict is only against a company called CAM (Cash Assets Management), and it is not against the Mustang," Gilman said. "There is no finding of any kind against the Mustang. We want people to know that the Mustang Ranch is open for business and nothing in this trial will affect it."
Post trial motions should be heard within the next month or two, Gilman said. He will also ask Gonzales to pay the court costs.
"We know heis working closely with (Bunny Ranch brothel owner) Dennis Hof, and we suspect that Gonzales wants to try to take the Mustang and move Hof into Storey County and the facility," Gilman said about Gonzales.
"When people make an agreement in good faith, you don't stab someone in the back who helped you out," said Mark Wray, Gonzales' lawyer.
"That is just embarrassing," Gonzales said. "Good lord, why doesn't he (Gilman) just man up and do what is right."
A bailiff, however, noted Friday that the deliberations went on for more than two hours.
Gonzales, in seeking that Gilman pay all legal fees, estimated last week that court costs could range from more than $200,000 to less than $500,000.
"The verdict was certainly a surprise to us," Gilman said. "We respect the jury system, but we respectfully disagree with Louis Vuitton Men Shoes 2016
